La Dolce Vita 2010
A London celebration of Italian excellence: "La Dolce Vita" is a multi-sector platform for consumers who love Italian Style. Food and wine, fashion, design and tourism will be the principal themes of this great show, which, for 2010, will be held in the Business Design Centre, one of the most fashionable locations in the city. The show will have four main sections: The most popular event, Teatro del Gusto (Theater of Taste), features demonstrations by famous chefs; Wine Academy is a show with tastings to promote the best Italian wines; Strada del Vino (Wine Road) is an opportunity to meet wine growers; and, finally, Le Piazze (The Squares), will reproduce the characteristic atmosphere of the old town center of an Italian city.
In addition, a "La Dolce Tributes Gala Evening" will be held on March 12th: a dinner to recognize those personalities whose work promotes Italian excellence throughout the world. The winners of previous editions include Gianfranco Ferrè, Oliviero Toscani and Matteo di Montezemolo.
With 18,000 visitors to the last edition, La Dolce Vita has become a not-to-be-missed event for anyone who wants to discover the most authentic characteristics of the Bel Paese.
